Arctic Monkeys confirmed at T In The Park Festival

Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay and Foo Fighters will be confirmed at the T In The Park Festival.

Liam Gallagher’s new band Beady Eye, the newly reformed Pulp, My Chemical Romance and Jimmy Eat World will all be performing at the Scottish festival, according to the Metro.co.uk report.

Festival director Geoff Ellis said, “I’m really pleased with our artist announcements and proud to deliver a whole host of bands including many that T in the Park fans told us they wanted to see when we surveyed them post event.

We’re delighted that T in the Park is the festival that bands want to play at and music lovers want to be at.”

T In The Park event which take place on 8-10 July and this event's tickets are available to go on sale on 25 February Friday.

Smoking Ban In LA Mansion Ignore By Arctic Members


It has been reported that Arctic Monkey have put themselves in a spot of trouble whilst in LA.

The Sun Reports that despite being banned by owner to smoke,Arctic Monkeys didn't followed the instructions and move against it.

A source told the paper: "They left the place looking pretty messy as you might expect with a bunch of guys. But it's the smell that's the problem.

"t stated in the rental contract they were not allowed to smoke indoors. But the house and the furniture stink of smoke. The smell is so bad furniture and other items may have to be replaced."

Arctic Monkeys are recording their fourth album with producer James Ford.

Meanwhile, Arctic Monkeys have announced details of two huge hometown gigs in Sheffield this summer.

Arctic Monkeys, Arcade Fire, Beady Eye tickets on sale Feb 11


Tickets for Arctic Monkeys' concerts at Sheffield's Don Valley arena go on sale February 11.

The bands play the homeland shows on June 10 and 11. Tickets go on sale at 9am (GMT). To check the accessibility of Arctic Monkeys tickets and get all the latest listings, go to Gigsports

Tickets for shopping arcade Fire's new UK dates also go on sale today. They will play Manchester's Evening News Arena on August 31 and Edinburgh Castle on September 1. Tickets are on sale for the previous show from 10am, and from 9am for the latter.

Arcade Fire tickets will also be accessible at Gigsports. Also, tickets for Beady Eye, Biffy Clyro and Editors' London Teenage Cancer Trust shows are accessible from 10am. Noah And The Whale, Death From Above 1979, brilliant Eyes and Rolo Tomassi tickets are also due to be released this morning.

Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner Announces Solo

Alex Turner frontman of Arctic Monkey's has announced the tracklisting for his debut solo EP.

'Submarine', released on March 14, and accompanies the forthcoming British film of the similar name, directed by Richard Ayoade.

Produced by James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco, the album is mainly acoustic guitar and piano based.

From the novel by Joe Dunthorne film Submarine has been adapted and is released in cinemas on March 18.

Submarine is a film based on 15 year old boy wanna lose his virginity before his next birthday and stop his mother from leaving his father for her dance teacher.

Arctic Monkeys Turn Down Six-Figure Sum For LA Gig


A six-figure sum to play a gig in LA have been turned down by the Arctic Monkeys,it has been reported.

The Arctic Monkeys have rented a £30,000 a week £3million mansion in the Hollywood Hills has neglect the offered of a six-figure sum to play at a garden party in LA, the Sun reports.

A source told The Sun: ''Most of the locals are bang-up for a good time. They're young, rich, party-loving and keen to make friends with the lads.'

''One even offered six figures for the lads to play at their garden party but the group refused. The line, 'We're not performing monkeys' was said to have been used."
