Arctic Monkeys Perform Oxegen Festival 2011

Arctic Monkeys are set to perform Oxegen festival for upcoming year in Ireland.

At the event The Sheffield band join Foo Fighters take place at Pucchestown Racecourse, Country Kildare from July 8-10.

Arctic Monkeys hits album "Humbug" was released in 2009.

Eminem and Kasabian saw headline performance to this year's festival. Tickets for upcoming year's festival go on sale.

Foo Fighters and Arctic Monkeys joined Blink-182


A new released on 15 December, Foo Fighters and Arctic Monkeys will join in the Blink-182, they have announced as the third headliner in Ireland Oxygen festival for 2011.

At the event Foo Fighters and Arctic Monkeys have also been confirmed to play headline slots.

Oxegen takes place atPunchestown Racecourse, Country Kildare, on July 8-10. Tickets had available go on sale December 15, in March the rest will go on general sale.

Libertines and Arctic Monkeys supergroup releasing album

A new charity album had been recorded by Carl Barat, Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders, Babyshambles bassist Drew McConnell and Super Furry Animals' Gruff Rhys.

Recording under the name The Bottletop Band, other musicians involved include Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, VV Brown, Sam Sparro, Fink, Reverend And The Makers, Eliza Doolittle and Tim Burgess.

A single, 'Fall Of Rome', will be available to download from Thebottletopband.com tomorow (December 10). The album, 'Dream Service', will be released on April 11 next year.

It is a collaboration between Brazilian musicians and the British players, with all the profits going to education and employment projects in Brazil, Africa and the UK.
