Arctic Monkeys Turn Down Six-Figure Sum For LA Gig

A six-figure sum to play a gig in LA have been turned down by the Arctic Monkeys,it has been reported.

The Arctic Monkeys have rented a £30,000 a week £3million mansion in the Hollywood Hills has neglect the offered of a six-figure sum to play at a garden party in LA, the Sun reports.

A source told The Sun: ''Most of the locals are bang-up for a good time. They're young, rich, party-loving and keen to make friends with the lads.'

''One even offered six figures for the lads to play at their garden party but the group refused. The line, 'We're not performing monkeys' was said to have been used."

Arctic Monkeys are recording their fourth album with producer James Ford.
