Arctic Monkeys renting Hollywood house

A Hollywood mansion is being rented to record their fourth album by Arctic Monkey. To record their new album Arctic Monkeys are paying £30,000 rent to stay in a 3million mansion in Hollywood Hills.

A source said: "Locals are worried a rock band moving in nearby would ruin the peace and quiet they're used to, so the lads have been told not to play their music too loud."

The house consists of six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a spa, swimming pool with waterfalls and library. They will be living near stars such as Jennifer Aniston and magazine publisher Larry Flint in the luxury house.

The source added to The Sun newspaper: "The pad is really amazing. After being in the studio all day it's the perfect place to come back to and relax and let their hair down."

The group - singer and guitarist Alex Turner, guitarist Jamie Cook, drummer Matt Helders and bass player Nick O’Malley - will record with producer James Ford, who has worked on all three of the band’s previous albums, and helmed initial sessions in London at the end of last year.
